Twenty-years working in the natural health care industry has cemented Joanne’s lifelong passion for well-being and the mind-body connection.
She believes that each of us has an ‘innate intelligence’ that provides the answers to achieving physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health.
Joanne’s background in dance first ignited her interest in the structure and function of the human body and led her to complete a Bachelor of Performing Arts (Dance) at the University of Western Sydney.
While undertaking further studies in nutrition, Joanne’s passion for Kinesiology began. She noticed the life changing benefits for her family after adopting an integrative, holistic health approach, enrolled in formal studies, and now holds a Diploma in Kinesiology.
After re-locating from Sydney to the New South Wales Northern Rivers Region in 2009, Joanne gained valuable experience as a Kinesiologist, working at a wellness retreat and in private practice. She then completed her Faculty Teacher Training and taught at the Byron Kinesiology School, where she currently mentors existing students.
Her love of integrative health care led her to complete an Advanced Diploma of Western Herbal Therapeutics, enabling her to incorporate herbal supplements, remedies and essences into her Kinesiology practice.
Joanne holds a Diploma in Kinesiology, an Advanced Diploma of Western Herbal Therapeutics and is a mentor at Byron Kinesiology School. She is registered with the Australian Traditional Medicine Society (ATMS).
“It’s such a privilege to provide natural health care and support that is gentle for all age groups,” Joanne says.
